MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• Ensure reliability of our manufacturing processes by stabilising the performance of physical assets. Defining and setting standards for the proper management and care of the assets while ensuring optimum levels of availability at the lowest total cost of ownership.
• The role needs to have a strong view of the short to medium term to move the performance of the plant to one that is proactive, while supporting the day-to-day plant activities to ensure that the processes are reliable.
• The Reliability Engineer will interact with all functions in the facility and at all levels to ensure that reliability of the assets is considered whenever decisions are made.
• The Reliability Engineer will support CAPEX/Revenue projects, be responsible for leading Reliability, delivering site services, improving process performance through OEE improvements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure activities relating to the master plan are completed and sustained.
• Act as the reliability representative on all new equipment projects and equipment modifications to ensure that full life cycle costing, reliability and maintainability are considered as part of any designs.
• Develop and maintain plant specifications that are to be used in the design of new and modified assets.
• Development and refinement of the preventive/predictive maintenance programme in a systematic, professional manner. Lead effective, communicate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• The Reliability Engineer will coordinate the development, implementation and review the asset management strategy for each critical asset.
•  Use statistical analysis techniques in the development of engineering solutions to repetitive equipment failures and other equipment problems; implementing ways of reducing the need for maintenance and ultimately eliminating the occurrence of failures.
• Perform Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) as specified by the Reliability Master Plan.
• Coordinate and/or perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for all significant failures.
  Develop and define the Key Performance Indicators for reliability.
  Provide coaching to members of the organisation in the area of reliability

• Responsible for the Cost Control Function on the Project assigned.

Subsea Installation Engineers

Subsea Installation engineers play an important role in our projects.

The Subsea Installation Engineers job is to plan all activities related to installation of subsea structures performed by our installation vessels. They join the project very early, sometimes in the bidding stage, and are part of all phases of the project from planning to execution and project close out.
 
Subsea Installation Engineers carry out static and dynamic analysis, they write procedures for installation, plan mobilisation and transport of heavy or large structures offshore. The products installed by the Installation Engineers can be templates, manifolds, spools, protection covers etc., and their tools are construction vessels, cranes, divers, Remotely Operated Vehicles and various hydraulic and pneumatic tooling systems. The Subsea Installation Engineers will plan and take ownership of the mobilisation of vessels and equipment and all installation work included in the job.
